Amazon indicators deal to spice up its restaurant supply service


NEW YORK (AP) — Amazon desires to ship extra burritos and hamburgers to the doorstep.

The e-commerce large stated Friday that it’s partnering with on-line ordering platform Olo, in a deal that might increase the variety of restaurant chains on its Amazon Eating places supply service. Beneath the deal, eating places that use Olo can listing their menus on Amazon Eating places. The eating places would put together orders and Amazon would offer a employee to ship it to the client. Olo says 200 restaurant chains use its platform, together with burrito vendor Chipotle.

The transfer is the most recent by Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc. to attempt to shake-up how individuals purchase meals. This summer season it purchased grocer Entire Meals for $13.7 billion.
